This is what I’m up to! Becoming a grandma and I couldn’t be more thrilled! My older daughter Nicolle, is due in the middle of June and moving back to California — yay!
I don’t know what I’m more excited for – my daughter moving back home or welcoming a granddaughter into our family! Colie (nickname given by her little sister) has been living in New Orleans for the past couple/few years. When I learned that she was pregnant, I was so excited but at the same time, wondered how involved I’d be able to be, when she lived in another state. BUT the next sentence out of Colie’s mouth was, “….and we’re moving HOME!” Ahhh! I’m pretty sure I screamed loud enough for our next door neighbors to hear 🙂
So, she and Levin will be here in March – just around the corner! And will be staying with us until they find a new place. It’ll be a full house but I welcome the craziness because she’s been gone way too long!
I know this isn’t a food post or even an active lifestyle post but in this WHAT I’M UP TO section, I will be posting more personal things because it’s really about ‘what I’m up to’.
I’ll keep y’all posted on my granddaughters birthday!
