Raise your hands if you eat the cookie dough before the cookies are in the oven. This Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is intended just for you! It’s time we just eat ‘all the dough’ and forget about the baked cookies.
Memories
I’m remembering back to the days when my friends and I would grab the rolls of premade cookie dough and literally plow down the whole freakin’ roll! I can still feel the achy tummy afterwards but make no mistake, we did it again at the following sleepover!
We can all agree that the ingredients in those premade cookie doughs aren’t the best and never mind what kind of eggs are being used in their dough, right?? My Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough recipe doesn’t contain egg so you can feel good about eating it and not worrying about salmonella poisoning. That said, I know that those risks come from eggs that aren’t from pasture raised livestock. So rest assured, it shouldn’t happen with eggs you’re getting from your local pasture raised farm.
Collagen Goodness
I do add some Primal Kitchen Foods Vanilla Collagen Fuel so it takes this treat up a notch in health AND it adds some flavor. So while you can omit this ingredient, I highly suggest using it. It’s great in coffee so don’t worry – it’ll get used up! Collagen is a great supplement to aid in joint health, gut heath and improvements with hair, skin and nails! It’s a perfect compliment to this Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough recipe but this collagen is used in more ways than one in our home.
If you prefer eating cookies baked, then head over and make these. My Chocolate Chip Almond Butter Cookies are one of the most made recipes to date! In fact, I make them a couple of times a month to have on hand here at the house ….as well as making them for different potlucks or get togethers. So whether you like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or baked cookies, these recipes are suuuuper easy and so delish!
Personally, as much as I like the baked goods, I still have my itch for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I almost feel like I’m getting away with something and truth be told, I hide these guys in the back of the fridge. They go fast! And I want one when I want one! So hide if you must …but do go make ’em and let me know what you think!
