I’ll keep this short and sweet – much like this recipe. It’s hard to even call it a “recipe”! This Dairy-Free Queso (Cheese Dip) came about when having a little game night with family and we wanted to munch on something.
I had our favorite non-dairy cream cheese on hand, as well as salsa so I decided to combine the 2 and this Dairy-Free Queso (Cheese Dip) was a hit with everyone! I use Kite Hill Cream “Cheese” but if you can handle dairy, by all means, use you favorite cream cheese. I’m sure you’ve seen this dip served before with regular cream cheese but I added nutritional yeast and it truly makes it a queso type of dip!
It’s great to serve at get togethers and though we just whizzed past all the holidays (oh man ….didn’t it go by fast??), it’s still a great dip/snack to have around when watching Netflix or as I said, hosting a game night with friends or family. I’m not gonna lie – I actually mixed a bowl of this Dairy-Free Queso (Cheese Dip) while I was putting groceries away and made a pretty nice dent in the dip!
If you’re looking for other dairy free recipes using Kite Hill Cream “Cheese”, here’s one you’ll love! This Crack Chicken recipe is made in the crockpot so you can dump in and let it cook while you work! It’s been one of my most tagged recipes! And it’s keto, as well as paleo because it’s dairy free!
Don’t forget to double up the recipe if you’re wanting it to last a while. I promise you – it’s delicious and a crowd pleaser. It went fast at our game night so it’s definitely getting doubled next time we have some people over!
Enjoy!

*Your favorite salsa will do – I just happen to love these 2 flavors with the cream “cheese”. Add 3/4 cup and see what you think….add more if desired. Top with cilantro or diced tomatoes. Serve with paleo crackers, plantain chips or veggies!
