I have never really been a popsicle kind of girl. My palate is drawn more toward ice cream! I do however love popsicles that are creamier and this Peaches and Cream bar, fits that bill! What makes these popsicles even more appealing to me is that they are filled with healthy fats that come from full fat coconut milk AND I added ‘peaches and cream’ exogenous ketones from a brand called Perfect Keto.
I started adding more fat to my diet quite a while back and love the feeling of being satiated after meals — not full and sluggish, but satiated and like I ate a meal that was satisfying and fueling. While doing so, I am not sure if I put myself into ketosis as I don’t really want to test myself as I am afraid it might send triggers of my disordered eating many, many years ago. So, I basically just go with how I am feeling and what my body is telling me. If I’m hungry within a few hours of eating, I probably didn’t eat enough fat in the meal before. I’m certainly not an expert at a keto “diet” but I do know my body and that’s what I choose to follow when it comes to hunger cues.
I started using a product called Perfect Keto and I do love the results I have gotten. I add the Chocolate Sea Salt to my coffee, along with MCT oil, collagen and a little ghee. It’s delicious AND it definitely keeps me energized, satiated and focused for many hours in the morning. I have often find myself realizing that it is 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon and I hadn’t even felt any hunger pangs. This isn’t an appetite suppressant but it does keep you feeling full longer than you’d imagine. I’m not an expert on exogenous ketones either but again, listening to my body, I know that I am responding well to the product and like the way I feel. It does amp up a little energy for tough workouts as well as mental clarity. I believe exogenous ketones help with people starting a keto diet and have a keto flu – wherein their body is adjusting to not using sugar for fuel but tapping into the fats.
While I LOVE the Chocolate Sea Salt, I wanted to find a way to use the Peaches & Cream in a different way. With the summer heat upon us, I decided to make up these suuuuper easy popsicles! I mean honestly, it doesn’t get easier than what I’ve done here! I know there are a lot of exogenous ketones out there to choose from but for me, I found Perfect Keto to be the perfect fit. There’s no caffeine and I do like that because I add it to my coffee – I also love that I can stir this into a drink later in the day if desired & I don’t have to worry about caffeine messing with my system/sleep. And frankly, I was a little turned off by a competing brand that based a lot of the sale of the product by marketing the fact that you can make money. I want a good product and base my decision on what the product can do for me, not what I can do for the product.

- 1 can full fat coconut milk
- 1 1/2 scoops of Peaches & Cream Perfect Keto
- 8 - 10 drops vanilla stevia
- Place all ingredients in blender and pulse to combine.
- Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 6 hours.
- EAT!
