The Dirt – Natural Toothpaste

I have no idea why it’s taken me so long to try this! I’ve been wanting to give it a-go but for some reason, just kept putting it off to order. I was able to meet Shannon (founder) at a little get together and she gave me some to take home and try. YAY! I won’t be putting off my order anymore….I love everything about it!

If you follow me on instagram, you know I like my bulletproof coffee. Well, unfortunately my teeth suffer the consequences of the delicious brown colored beverage! I do what I can do, as naturally as possible to keep the teeth from becoming too yellowy but it’s almost inevitable that perfectly white teeth are out of the question when drinking my ‘drink of choice’ each and every morning — that is, until now!

The first day I used The Dirt, I couldn’t believe how clean my teeth felt. Sure…it was weird not having a “sudsy” mouth as The Dirt Toothpaste doesn’t suds up. I did wonder if I used enough but just kept brushing. When I rinsed, I realized why she must have named it dirt! Forgive me as I say – when I spit, it was though I had accidentally got a mouth full of dirt when sliding into home plate! Once I thoroughly rinsed, my teeth were squeaky clean. And my mouth felt so refreshed! 

There are all natural ingredients being used – one of them being Extra Fine Bentonite Clay, which is a healing clay. There aren’t any harsh or abrasive ingredients in this toothpaste and nothing artificial. I have been using it for only 3 days now BUT I can already see a bit of difference in my pearly whites. And again, I absolutely love how clean my teeth feel! If you’re looking for a “clean” (excuse the pun) toothpaste, you must check The Dirt out!
